When we drove to California for a Disneyland vacation in February, I didn't notice the types of cars that were driving along I-10 as much as this time. There must have been a rich people convention in Arizona or something. I've never seen so many Mercedes, BMW's, Lexus's, Infinities and Cadilacs in my life! We even saw a Bentley! I thought a famous person might be driving the Bentley, but I didn't recognize him, some guy with his hair sticking up everywhere. The traffic in the LA area was awful as usual. You would think people would not drive as much on a Sunday, but not in LA. The Goodyear blimp was flying around, I'll have to look up what event was going on.
We finally reached our hotel in Santa Clarita at around 5pm, long day of driving. We decided to save some money and stay at some Super 8 motels. This one is ok. The reception area and inside hallways all stink like cigarettes or rotting food, but our room didn't smell and seemed clean. Not going to use the hairdryer; has a little be too much lint in it for my taste. There are two floors, and we are on the second, but there is no elevator, so had to haul everything up the stairs. It seems quiet so far, hopefully it will stay that way. They also have free breakfast in the morning, so we'll see how that is too. Tomorrow we'll drive to Sacramento! Another long drive and stay at a Super 8 there that we got for only $8.88! :)

$8.88 for a hotel? It's going to be a crap hole!
From basmoose, thunderstorms, my. We went to Sedona on Sunday and did a short hike. We grabbed some take-out lunch and our timing was perfect, it started to pour as we got in the car.
Tell Mikey that Randy and his wife Yvette are sold on one of my kittens. But Randy didn't actually stoop so low as to hold one in front of me.
We've ordered the Phase II cabinets! Yeah! $3000. Eek!
Come back, safe, sound, soon.
